Here are some tips for living carlite or carfree:
- Choose a community that is large enough to have transit options available within the community; and car rental or car sharing, train, bus, and/or airline service for traveling outside your community.
- Select a location within your community that is near the things you regularly access - grocery stores, school, work, medical facilities etc.
- Get the equipment and clothing you need - a reliable bike, saddle bags and/or a bike trailer, rain gear and clothing to help you be comfortable in all kinds of weather.
