West ISU Campus

Central campus is surrounded by buildings. Here are a few of the building on the west side of campus. This is Marston Hall, built in 1903. It now is the home to the College of Engineering's administrative offices. Behind Marston Hall and barely visible in this picture is the old water tower that originally supplied water for the University. It is the oldest steel water tower west of the Mississippi River.

This is the main walkway between the Library, Beardshear and Carver Halls, and Campustown. Beardshear Hall, the central administrative building of the university, is off to the left. It was completed in 1906 and is currently undergoing renovation. The detail on the interior dome of this building is really striking.

Another beautifully building on campus is Alumni Hall, home to the Office of the Registrar. It was built in 1907 and restored in the late 1980's.
