Country Club Blvd. and Jack Trice Stadium

On the east side of Campustown, just west of the stadium complex, is a residential district. Most of the Greek houses are located here, and many university faculty members live in the area as well. This is Country Club Boulevard, one of the nicest residential streets of the city.

This is Jack Trice Stadium, home to the ISU football team. The large rectangular structure on the top of the stadium houses "skyboxes". In the foreground is the football team's Astroturf practice field, on which is being constructed an indoor practice facility. Barely visible to the right is another practice area that has natural grass.
To the left, not shown, is the ISU Center. The ISU Center consists of four buildings: Hilton Colliseum (home to the ISU men's and women's basketball teams), Scheman Center, Fisher Theater, and C.Y. Stephens Auditorium. Most conferences and performances are held in one or more of these buildings. Separating the ISU Center and Jack Trice Stadium is a huge parking lot. Instead of including a picture of the parking lot, I chose to show a more pleasant view from the area:

(Too bad there's no way to convey the scent over the Internet of this gorgeous blossoming crabapple tree located on the bike path just west of the stadium. From the passenger seat of the trishaw, they smelled wonderful!)
Let's go to Reiman Gardens to see more beautiful sights like these.
