Lake Laverne
This is Lake Laverne. It's located on the southern edge of campus, just north of Campustown. This man-made lake was created in 1915 by damming College Creek, a small stream that runs across campus. The Memorial Union, ISU's student union, is shown in the background in the upper right.
Sir Lancelot and Elaine are the two mute swans who rule the lake. It's very peaceful to sit and watch them swim.
