Starting our Virtual Tour of Ames, Iowa by Trishaw
Some of the most beautiful parts of Ames, like the greenbelt path system and the Iowa State University campus, are off-limits to automobiles. (That's probably why they remain so beautiful.) Accessing these by car is, of course, impossible. But, they're easy to access by trishaw.
On the next few pages, you'll get an idea of what it's like to visit these places--by trishaw. We've created a "virtual tour" by taking pictures of some landmarks in Ames from the seat of our trishaw. We'll start our tour in Brookside Park, go across the campus of Iowa State University, ride thru Campustown, visit Reiman Gardens, and finish in downtown Ames. We'll visit thirteen landmarks in all.
